Characteristic of the Fonseca house style, Fonseca Ruby Port is consistently rich, plummy and robust with a lush smoothness on the palate and an extremely harmonious balance of fruit, tannin and acidity. Ready to be consumed when bottled, it is most frequently drunk at room temperature after dinner with cheese, nuts or dried fruits, but can also be served slightly chilled, as do the French, as an aperitif.
