Appearance: Pomegranate with a cinnabar hue. Aromas: Wild berry, mushroom, forest floor, white gardenia, coriander. Palate: Dark entry with a strong and bold touch, red clay-iron, cherry extract, coffee and root beer, with good viscosity and depth. Mouthfeel: Mature tannins. Finish: Great structure and midpalate develops to a strong finish. Age ability: Given the higher amount of whole cluster and the structured oak tannins, this wine can age 5 to 10 years given proper cellaring conditions. Food Pairings: Fancy Croque Monsieur - pork belly on fresh brioche with nutmeg bechamel.
