THREE SISTERS BENCH RED 750ML

All the grapes were grown by Earlco Vineyards Ltd. and sourced from Naramata and Summerland, picked by hand at optimum ripeness. Bench Red is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. The juice was macerated and fermented in small lots, then aged for 12 months in a combination of new and neutral French and American oak. Full malolactic fermentation occurred during this time and the wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. The Bench Red leads with notes of dark plum and mulberry, complemented by nuanced tones of cedar and green capsicum. This wine balances opulent dark fruit and juicy cherry with warm spice and a touch of smoke. The finish is smooth and velvety, with great length and refined tannins.
