Terre Magre Merlot is a medium-bodied wine from the Friuli wine region, characterized by vibrant flavors of plum, cherry, mocha, and nuts. For this vintage, some grapes were dried for over 60 days in a temperature-controlled environment. The remaining grapes were de-stemmed, crushed, and fermented in steel tanks for 20 days. In December, the dried grapes underwent crushing, de-stemming, and fermentation. After malolactic conversion, the two batches were blended in late January and allowed to rest until spring.
