The white Grololo is a fascinating cuvée for Loire lovers, showcasing the holy trinity of Loire white varieties. This bottle features Melon de Bourgogne from Muscadet, Chenin Blanc from Anjou, and Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine, representing the finest whites along the river. All components are farmed biodynamically to provide a clear expression of their terroir, with each variety vinified separately and aged in oak vats for a year before blending just prior to bottling. The result is a golden-hued wine that exhibits the charming aromatics of Sauvignon, the body and greenery of Melon de Bourgogne, and the tension and power of Chenin. Notably, only 333 cases were produced.
