Mencia is a native grape of the Iberian region characterized by low acidity and high sugar content, it provides wines with medium-high body and structure and velvety, silky mouthfeels. On the nose this wine offers ripe red berries, fresh flowers and wet stone while the palate yields blackberry, wild dark fruit, black tea, dark chocolate and mineral notes.
