Friendly Farming Certified. The winery operates almost entirely on solar energy. The wine is aged in 100% French oak for 13 months, with 35% new barrels and 65% one-year-old barrels. This is followed by bottle aging for a total of 37 months. It features ripe dark fruit, spice, vanilla, and earthy, nutty aromas and flavors. The wine has silky tannins, elegance, and acidity, culminating in a velvety lingering finish.
