Château Guiraud does not only produce sweet wines from Sauternes, but also dry wines, as evidenced by this delicious blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. It also benefits from aging in barrels which have already housed Sauternes, an additional originality which contributes to forging its character. Quite dry, it is expressed by herbaceous notes, but also apricot, mint, honey and olive oil, all enhanced by a delicate woody note. Terrific discovery!
