The signature high rye mash bill gives the liquid it’s distinctively spicy, dry, and clean taste and sets it apart from traditional bourbons with higher corn contents. Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength is bottled, unfiltered and uncut, in limited production runs on an annual basis. The proof can be anywhere between 118 and 127 depending on the batch and the liquid is uncut and unfiltered. The unfiltered, high proof lets the rich vanilla flavour shine through from start to finish. Adding a bit of water to your glass of neat Bulleit Barrel Strength will actually alter the chemical structure and release more nuance in the flavour.
