The Rive Droite Merlot is more broad and opulent, with a sexy, full-bodied profile loaded with notions of ripe black cherries, currants, chocolate, and hints of tobacco. It's extremely well balanced, beautiful tannins and one heck of a finish. It's possibly the finest Merlot of the 2019 vintage in Napa Valley. This Cuvee comes from 98% Merlot & 2% Cab Franc, from more red clay soils of the Mayacamas Mountains (Estate Grown) and spent 18 months in 80% new French oak. Only 286 cases made, PHENOMENAL wine! BRAVO!!
