The first Sagrantino: the one that brought Giampaolo Tabarrini to fame. Filled to the brim with dynamism and class, this ruby red wine is both easy to drink and incredibly pleasant on the palate. The grapes come from clay, silt-rich soil, well exposed to the Southeast, guaranteeing perfectly ripened grapes and a powerful, balanced wine. The Colle Grimaldesco is refined for no less than four years after harvest before it is introduced to the market.
